TASK 1 - PACKAGING & PROMOTION // SELFRIDGES FOOD RANGE

This lines of packaging and promotion of food was called 'Food Noir' which was based on the strong principle of one colour, one typeface, one point size. This combination has a powerful and striking effect. The bold/bright colour of the type against the black stock of the packaging of the food makes it stand out. Because of it's simplistic design, it will stand out against other more complicated products on the shelf. In this case less is more. This is why it stood out for me. It is innovative and modern.
